Key Accountabilities
- Grow and develop profitable sales for all the Company’s products within the sales region through cost effective recruitment, active marketing and lead management
- Work closely with the Regional Operations Manager to minimise cost and maximise efficiencies and productivity
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- To manage effectively the performance of the Region through the Regional Product Manager / Regional Footcan Manager as appropriate.
- To take responsibility for recruiting to target, retention of, effectively coach/train and motivate all regional employed and self-employed personnel
- To generate target sales leads through the activities of the regions sales and marketing force in order to exceed volume sales targets by product whilst meeting cost of sales targets through effective cost management
- To develop and grow finance related sales business in order to exceed finance sales targets by product
- To hold minuted weekly meetings with the Regional Operations Manager to take any necessary action regarding sales query list, address any operational issues, etc
- To ensure all regional personnel are aware of targets, progress, issues and developments by holding regular weekly meetings, team briefings, presentations and appraisals.
- To ensure all company/regional sales processes are adhered to at all times
- To ensure all sales and marketing literature within the region is in line with company standards from time to time
- To ensure that all regional personnel are appropriately paid within commission and other guidelines set by the Company from time to time
- To promote a safe working environment in respect of staff, customers and self-employed individuals by abiding by the health and safety regulations and procedures and to liaise with the Retail Health & Safety Manager on all matter relating to health and safety and risk assessment
- Abide by all statutory requirements including those relating to health and safety
- Understand and fulfil your responsibilities under the Company’s equal opportunities policy in place from time to time
- Adhere to and promote all company policies and procedures in place from time to time including those relating to HR and health and safety
- To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the Sales Director/Divisional Sales Director
Essential
Qualifications
- 5 GCSE/O levels or equivalent at grade C or above, including Math’s and English
Experience
- Experience in a middle management role
- Experience in a fast paced sales environment
- Strong recruitment experience
- Business and commercial acumen
